Once upon a time I discovered my passion for creating all sorts of things with one common theme: each creation was heart-inspired. I soon realized my own joy came from bringing inspiration and joy to the recipients of my creations.
In Fall 2020, after several months of testing and perfecting recipes, I decided to create cookies: delicious cookies made with lots of love that would bring joy to the palates and hearts of others.
With the help of my daughter, Alexa, who has traveled extensively through tight-knit creative communities across the world, I set up a cottage food operation that served locals throughout Connecticut. The colorful cupboard that stored cookie orders was inspired by the cookie stands dotted throughout Lasqueti Island—one of British Columbia’s Gulf Islands and Lex’s favorite place.
While the cupboard itself has found a new home after our dream move to the shore, the cookie baking is still in full swing.
